My only real complaints about this apartment/building are as follows: - Mail isn’t always secured well and sometimes gets stolen; - The building only has 2 washers and 2 dryers, and only 1 of the dryer works consistently; - It costs $4 to wash and dry a load of laundry; - No A/C and no thermostat in the units, it’s controlled by a thermostat in the hallway which other tenants can mess with - The building has has intermittent plumbing issues and will sometimes have to shut the water off entirely, however, these are always properly communicated Things I like, to keep the review fair: - All utilities included except for internet; - Cats allowed; - The building is old (from the 19th century) so there is minimal noise from neighbors and units are well insulated; - Fast response times for maintenance issues, sometimes even same-day; - Below market rent; - I’ve never seen evidence of pests.
