User Accounts

Review Guidelines

When submitting reviews, you agree to:

• Only review properties where you have actually lived
• Provide honest and accurate information
• Not include personal information about landlords, property managers, or other tenants
• Not post defamatory, threatening, or illegal content
• Not submit fake or misleading reviews

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines. Reviews are checked before being published. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our terms.

Disclaimer

Reviews on RateMyPlace reflect the opinions of individual users. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews and are not responsible for decisions made based on review content. Landlords and property owners may dispute reviews through our response system.

Limitation of Liability

RateMyPlace is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on review content.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
